Distorted Reproduction: The 6th Annual google exhibition

Distorted Reproduction: The 6th Annual google exhibition

This September the Seymour Centre will host Hardware Gallery’s 6th annual Google exhibition. Every year Hardware Gallery assembles a group of artists to accept an art mission. On the same day, at the same time, every artist will Google the same phrase. From a nominated page of results, all artists must select one website as their sole source of inspiration for making an artwork. It is an interactive approach to a group show that allows participating artists to unleash their creative best.

Hardware Gallery’s Google exhibition will be a major event in The Sydney Fringe Visual Arts program for 2012. In 2011, the Google exhibition showcased the work of the largest number of artists yet. This year, with an expanded Sydney Fringe Visual Arts program being curated, we are expecting to match this achievement. The 6th Annual Google exhibition will be one of the most significant exhibitions in this year’s Sydney Fringe program alongside an array of other exciting shows!
