SPRING 2010 HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY CANCELLED!
….WELL THINK AGAIN!
Here at Hardware Gallery, we are lucky enough to play host to enough vibrant artists, events and exhibitions to distract us (and you, hopefully) from this less than vibrant weather we’ve been “enjoying”.
First up, a big congratulations to Justin Van Den Berg, whose recent exhibition Come Look With Me, was an absolute success. Thanks to his professionalism and dedication, we have been able to sell nearly ALL of the works featured in this exhibition! Yeah, go team!
Sound Series #8 was (as usual) an absolute success, with the crowd beginning their Halloween Weekend with Innis & Gun and the friendly folks at HG. Music is in the air at HG in November, with Saturday the 6th being the Launch Party of Gail Priest’s new album Presentiments from the Spider Garden. The night was fantastic, with supports from sonic experimentalists and audio visual collaborators Sound of Homes.
Sound Series will celebrate it’s 9th month in action on the 19th of November, with even more exciting elements being infused into the performances. Come on down from 7.30pm on the 19th and join in on the celebration of music, radios and all things lovely.
And there’s more!…
Opening on the 7th of December from 6-8pm is the meticulous and down-right amazing pen on paper drawings by Harry, and we all know that her New Perceptions will enlighten and amaze every single one of you. The exhibition runs from the 7th until the 24th of December (can anyone say perfect Christmas Presents?!?!…)
